A Brief History

The Dupre Group was originally founded in 2002 and focused on real estate investing—specifically south Florida waterfront home rebuilds with wealth creation potential or true tropical vacation home rental capability. 

In 2003, during achievement of these goals on multiple properties, our team quickly recognized the need for professional, durable,  and comfortable exterior lighting.  Homes, landscapes, and pool areas without impressive illumination significantly degraded the lifestyle experience we were seeking for our investments.  We came to understand that achieving a 5-Star Caribbean resort like feel with proper lighting was an essential ingredient to any south Florida property --or business location.  Thus began our quest and augmentation of our core skills with best in class exterior lighting design capability for residential homes and commercial businesses.

This journey, though challenging as its been, has resulted in a team that is both knowledgeable and capable in the art and application of the latest in lighting technology to exterior and interior spaces--specifically subtropical / tropical settings.

After careful thought and consideration, in late 2004 we decided to formally form what our business is today:  an Exterior lighting design and Technology company.
